Sand painting or sometimes called (Zipper Sand Art) began
in, Mesa, Arizona. My sister, Carol Pace & her husband Wiff
put together the first kits and started teaching classes in
several "Snow Bird" parks.
Over the past 11 years the Pace's have created over 50
different kits along with detailed instructions and helped
100's of people through out Arizona and Utah create
beautiful Sand Painting Masterpieces. |

Each Kit is supplied with detailed step by step
instructions. The technique
amazingly simple and easy to do. It consists of a
paint (sand colors) by number pattern, Styrofoam,
plastic, zipper, glue and colored sand.

Beautiful colored sand is applied to each painting in
layers in a paint by number kit format. Over the years, the
Pace's have developed numerous techniques to enhance
the overall beauty of each painting. |

The finished painting is then separated from the
pattern.
Since the painting is on a clear plastic, it can then
be applied to a masonite board for framing or even applied
to a physical object such as a vase. (See Below) |
